Inspired by the three goddesses of fate from Greek mythology and the fragile bonds between life, loss, and destiny, the album transforms the intense personal experiences of recent years into some of the most magnificent, adventurous, and emotionally powerful music in the band's career.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe album is also the band's first full-length release with guitarist Nick Johnston and also features significant contributions from keyboardist João Nogueira.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMarrow Deep was co-produced by Mastodon at their own West End Sound studio in Atlanta alongside Patrik Berger (Lana Del Rey, Charli XCX) and Kurt Ballou (High On Fire, Converge).
